Our Homechoice team have worked hard to ensure all properties are advertised to our customers before the Christmas period, please note there will be no properties advertised after 17 December 2024 until Thursday 9 January 2025.

Currently are dealing with an increased demand and as such this may cause delays. Please avoid contacting us via telephone where possible to discuss you application as our phone lines are very busy which may cause you a significant delay.
We do remind new applicants that once your application has been submitted to us it will be assessed in date order. Due to the high number of applications we receive this can take us a number of weeks. We would like to remind all applicants that the quickest way to communicate with us regarding your application is via your Homechoice Portal. Please ensure you regularly check your Portal for updates

Welcome to Homechoice, Broxtowe Borough Council uses Homechoice to help to allocate social housing properties within the Borough.
Homechoice is used by both the Council and local Registered Providers to allocate their properties, therefore properties will include Council owned properties and Housing Association.
Before registering on the scheme please be aware of the Councils Privacy Notice.
We aim to give you more choice in deciding where you want to live. Properties that are available for rent will be advertised each week.
Please register to be part of the Homechoice scheme and if you are eligible you will be allocated a band that is based on your circumstances. Once you are registered and have been given your band, you will be able to bid for properties on a weekly basis that are available for you to bid on.
The cycle starts on Thursday and ends at midnight on Tuesday and if successful you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer. The scheme does not work on a first come first basis and your position in the shortlist may change throughout the bidding cycle.
